What should I do first?
PrintThe consumer must attempt the settlement of the disputed matter directly with the financial service provider prior to initiating the proceedings of the Financial Arbitration Board. Simultaneously with the submission of the petition, the petitioner needs to make a statement on this fact; furthermore, they must attach to the petition the written statement of the financial service provider on the rejection of the complaint, for lack of such a statement, any other written evidence available for the consumer on the attempt of a settlement.
