MNB Technical Cooperation
PrintINTRODUCTION
International cooperation has a vital importance in the rapidly changing economic environment. In this spirit the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, the central bank of Hungary was proud to launch its Technical Cooperation Programme in 2023 which continues in 2024. The programme aims to foster the MNB’s collaboration with its partners and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practice among central banks. Titled “From Tradition to Innovation”, the MNB Technical Cooperation Programme 2024 offers four seminars over the year. The seminars highlight the duality of old and new, covering core central banking activities such as crisis management and cash logistics, and the pioneering fields of central banking from green finances and digitalisation to payment solutions.
The introductory brochure of the programme is available here.
This programme is an excellent opportunity for economic policymakers and financial experts of central banks to expand their knowledge and build valuable relationships with other professionals from around the word. By participating, experts have the opportunity to gain knowledge related to financial stability and sustainable growth, benefiting not only themselves, but also their wider community at their respective institution.
