On 13 May, 2003 the Magyar Nemzeti Bank issued a collector coin made of silver of a face value of HUF 5,000 on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the Rákóczi War of Independence.
Gábor Gáti, sculptor, the designer of the coin, showed on the front of the coin the potrait side of the Rákóczi gold dukat in circulation during the Rákóczi War of Independence. On the reverse side there is a Hungarian insurrectionist trooper blowing a trumpet.
