The Financial Stability Report is published twice a year, in May and November. The Report informs financial system participants about topical issues affecting financial stability, thereby increasing the risk awareness of those involved, and maintaining and strengthening confidence in the financial system. The objective of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank is to facilitate access to adequate information for those involved to make decisions influencing the financial system, and consequently to enhance the stability of the financial system as a whole. With the Bank being granted a new mandate for macroprudential and microprudential oversight, the Report has been expanded to present in detail the sectors outside the banking sector.
