The MNB Summer School of Economics 2018 (MNB Summer School) is designed for undergraduate and graduate students from all around the globe. We are committed to give an in-depth insight into finance and geopolitics from the point of view of the Central Bank of Hungary (Magyar Nemzeti Bank, MNB). The MNB Summer School is proud to announce the following partners: MNB Department at Corvinus University of Budapest (MNB Department), Corvinus University Budapest GEO Institute (GEO Institute), Budapest Institute of Banking (BIB) and Pallas Athéné Innovation and Geopolitical Foundation (PAIGEO). The objective of our summer initiative is providing professional knowledge for the next generation of economists, while increasing networking opportunities across the globe.

What makes us unique?
Our competitive edge is based on the central banking expertise. The MNB Summer School is the only summer university in the Central and Eastern Europe region (CEE), which is organized by a central bank. Our lecturers came from the professional MNB team to show students how to translate theoretical knowledge into practice. Our academic team strongly integrates into the teaching material interactive sessions and game simulations as well. We lay special emphasis on networking with the fellow students and lecturers during the program. We believe that education should take place in an intercultural setting to push the world to a higher level of connectivity. We are working to create you the perfect environment to be active, proactive and become part of the curriculum!
