The first Chinese-language special issue of the Financial and Economic Review has been published

Budapest, 16 February 2018 – The Magyar Nemzeti Bank presented the first Chinese-language special issue of the scientific periodical Financial and Economic Review on 16 February 2018, the first day of the Chinese Lunar New Year. The volume contains a selection of papers of high interest published in the journal in previous years. With the Chinese-language publication, the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, as the publisher of the periodical, primarily wishes to contribute to the further development of Chinese–Hungarian economic relations. The studies included in the special issue deal with recent years’ economic policy reforms in Hungary, issues concerning sovereign credit ratings, Chinese monetary policy and bond market developments as seen by Hungarian experts as well as the Asian Financial Cooperation Association.

The Editorial Board of the Financial and Economic Review trusts that the Chinese-language scientific-educational periodical is an initiative that fills a gap and will bring about considerable achievements, making this special issue accessible to a wider audience, and also launching a valuable initiative in terms of economic diplomacy.
