In 2014, the Magyar Nemzeti Bank published its Financial Consumer Protection and Market Supervision Report in online and printed formats. The objective of the Report is to present the MNB’s activities as an authority in the fields of financial consumer protection, market supervision as well as the risks revealed in those areas. The period under review covers the second half of the year preceding publication and the first half of the current year. The Report is structured as follows: the first part contains the executive summary and a report on the activities of the consumer protection and market surveillance areas. The second part contains a presentation and analysis of risks related to consumer protection and market surveillance.
