From 1 January 2018, pursuant to the provisions of Act CCXXII of 2015 on the General rules of Electronic Administration and Trust Services (hereinafter: E-administration Act), the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB), as an organisation offering electronic administration, in the matters belonging to its tasks and competence – and particularly in its licensing procedures – must provide the opportunity for electronic administration, while the enterprises acting as clients – and particularly the financial organisation supervised by the MNB – and their legal representatives, are obliged to use electronic administration. The forms for electronic administration are available in the ERA system.
Pursuant to Section 9(3) of the E-administration Act, natural persons may be obliged to use electronic administration only by an Act, and thus natural persons remain entitled to submit their application on the standard form.
The standard forms to be used in the MNB’s licensing procedures, which may be submitted by natural persons, are available on this site.
