Referring to the application of the iNG Bank N.V. (leader of iNG Banking Group), De Nederlandsche Bank N.V. (DNB) as the competent home authority issued a Joint Decision (TBA/2007/02886/roe) regarding the iNG Group on 12th of November 2007, including the iNG Bank Zrt. By the Joint Decision the iNG Bank Zrt. is permitted to calculate capital requirement of credit risk by using Advanced internal Ratings Based (AiRB) approach as of 1 January, 2008.

According to Paragraph (6) of Section 14/B of the Act CXii of 1996 on Credit institutions and Financial Enterprises the above resolution of the DNB shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in Hungary.
