MNB Education Club

The Education Club of the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB Education Club) was established in 2017 with the aim of creating a unique professional community for participants in educational programs, scholarship students and contributors to the programmes supported by the Magyar Nemzeti Bank and the Pallas Athena Foundations.

The MNB Education Club brings together a professional community consisting of students and lecturers from forty domestic and foreign higher education institutions, as well as employees of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank.

The activities of the MNB Education Club are based on the following pillars:

Self-organized events and programs for its members to facilitate scientific dialogue.
Quick and direct information about professional and scientific opportunities.
Promoting opportunities for cooperation and collaboration for researchers, students and lecturers in the fields of economics, finance and social sciences in Hungary.

Since its establishment, the MNB Education Club has had many professional events, within the framework of outstanding speakers in their field have enriching the professional horizons of the members.

The main goal of the MNB Education Club, which currently has more than 1,000 members, is to support the development and networking opportunities of the Hungarian and foreign economist community in the framework of similar high-quality programs.

The primary objective of the MNB shall be to achieve and maintain price stability. (...) Without prejudice to its primary objective, the MNB shall support the maintenance of the stability of the system of financial intermediation, the enhancement of its resilience, its sustainable contribution to economic growth; furthermore, the MNB shall support the government’s economic policy and its policy related to environmental sustainability, using instruments at its disposal.
